So last week I moaned about my house woes and the damage my leaking roof did to my tenant's apartment, and you bloggers were so encouraging in your comments to me. Thank you so much for that! Then we got some great news!
- The insurance company called us back and decided to pay for the damage after all. Yay! That's thousands of dollars worth of repairs. What a relief.
- Then an author sent me and my son a surprise gift of Christy's Gourmet Cookies. What a delightful and yummy surprise that was in our mailbox.
- I published my 1000th post this week! Can't believe I've been blogging for over 5 years now.
- Finally, I'm out of my reading slump and have started enjoying reading again.
